Meet the Team:

Rogelio Goertzen II, Founder & CEO of the Hispanic Organization of Mortgage Experts (HOME).
Rogelio Goertzen
HOME   Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Detroit, MI

Rogelio Goertzen II is a second-generation American, born in Canada with deep roots in Mexico, now making an impact in the U.S. mortgage industry. After serving the independent mortgage broker community for 10 years at America’s largest wholesale lender, he became the company’s first Spanish-speaking professional and identified a critical gap in loan officer education—one that directly impacted Hispanic and Latinx borrowers.

In 2024, driven by his passion for empowering the Hispanic and Latinx communities, Goertzen self-funded and launched HOME to bridge this gap. He believes that wholesale loan officers provide the expertise, affordability, and service commitment needed to help Hispanic and Latinx borrowers secure mortgages, build generational wealth, and break through financial barriers.

Through HOME, he is reshaping the wholesale mortgage landscape—connecting lenders with underserved communities and driving lasting economic impact.

Rogelio is driven and inspired by his family, his community and his faith.
